Azure Virtual Machines offer a straightforward solution for hosting SQL Server, including SQL Server 2016, in the cloud. This platform enables the running of database applications on high-performance VMs with adaptable payment options. Our primary aim is to seamlessly migrate your SQL Server to an Azure VM while safeguarding data integrity throughout the process.

Responsibilities:

IT Partner: Convert machines to VHDs, upload to Azure Storage, deploy SQL VM, configure high availability if needed, and facilitate data transfer.
Client: Designate a key contact, configure networking equipment, and grant server access.

Exclusions: Backup scheduling and software upgrades are not within the scope of this project.

Upon completion, a comprehensive project closeout report will be furnished. The plan will be intricately tailored to meet your specific requirements.

Project Plan:

Commence with a kick-off meeting.
Progress through review and deployment stages.
Conclude with finalization and thorough verification.
